Today, technology has made monitoring of a person on a cell phone to be very simple – in some cases, as easy as pointing and clicking a computer mouse. Although many people use these technologies for very positive reasons – such as ensuring that their children are where they should be – the introduction of spyware on mobile phones has made things a bit less healthy.

Current technology, readily available, offers services that can enable users via cell phone to phones within a few dozen meters from its actual location. The technology relies on GPS chip technology within certain cell phones. It was initially designed to enable workers to find emergency 911 calls that have drawn from their cell phones.

Spyware, on the other hand, was initially designed for mobile phones to be used by suspects who want access to incoming calls and text messages by their possible cheating spouses to demonstrate honesty … or lack thereof.

The latest technology, however, is a combination of both. Now, there is spyware that can be applied to a cellular phone that operates any GPS chips that happen to be installed so that the behavior of the phone users can be tracked.

For example, it has been confirmed that even large, well-known companies have been sending emails to users of mobile phones, which, when open email, be subject to a spyware on your phone that will track their location and behavior of companies use for their own purposes.

This has affected many people about their own personal data and the right to privacy. After all, this type of technology is that it allows anyone with the right software knowledge to be able to determine the online behaviors and physical locations of someone with the kind of cell phone.

Security personnel can become a real concern for people who could be tracked by individuals or companies with unethical intent. This can include anything from harassment via telephone and text messages for identity theft. Quickly, this risk is leading to a substantial part of the market for mobile security technology.
